Description
ZeroTol 2.0 is a sustainable chemistry that is recognized to decrease plant pathogens such as powdery mildew, botrytis, Xanthomonas, etc. Tank mix ZeroTol 2.0 with systemic chemistry, such as OxiPhos, or an insecticide, like AzaGuard, to improve the overall well-being and resistance of your plants. ZeroTol 2.0 can be used for a large number of applications. Landscapers can make use of ZeroTol as a fungicide on flowering plants, bedding plants, ornamentals, roses, trees, nursery stock, turf, bulbs, seedlings, cuttings, and seedbeds to build and maintain healthy gardens. ZeroTol 2.0 not only controls the virus but kills the spores that develop algae, bacteria, and fungus, avoiding further disease contamination.ZeroTol 2.0 similarly protects all types of turf, such as residential lawns, back yards, athletic fields, commercial turf, and golf courses. ZeroTol 2.0 can similarly control algae or bacteria build up on hard surfaces, for example, concrete walkways.
Specially formulated to eradicate bacteria, algae, fungi, and spores on contact, ZeroTol is recommended as a curative, preventive, or chemigation treatment in turf enviroments such as golf courses, althetic fields, and landscapes. ZeroTol is also recommended for use in gardens, nurseries, greenhouses, and orchards for a wide variety of horticultural applications such as direct injection, cold or thermal fog, vegetative cutting and seed treatment, foliar spray treatment, drench treatment, water treatment, flowering plants, bedding plants, poinsettia, roses, nursery stock, ornamentals, trees, bulbs, and cut flowers. ZeroTol is also recommended for use as an algaecide and fungicide on: greenhouse structures, pots, benches, watering systems, storage rooms, evaporative coolers, floors, ventilation equipment, and other equipment.
ZeroTol is mutation resistant because its rapid oxidation on surface contact with plants and materials helps stop the development of tolerant strains of fungi and bacteria.
When used together with other residual fungicides, ZeroTol provides a “belt and suspenders” solution to disease control. ZeroTol provides quick eradication of turf pathogens, while the other residual fungicides work to suppress future pathogen build-up. Benefits of ZeroTol include:
- Zero Hour re-entry interval (REI)
- No phytotoxic side effects on turf
- Kills bacteria, algae, fungi, and spores on contact without damaging delicate plant tissue or flowers
- No mutational resistance
- Environmentally friendly (non-residual)
- Approved for tank mixing
- EPA approved (EPA# 70299-1)

ZeroTol is completely safe for plants, making it ideal for greenhouse applications.
Seed Treatment and Vegetative Cutting
ZeroTol is recommended for surface treatment of vegetative cuttings and seeds to kill harmful fungal and bacterial plant pathogens.
Direct Injection for Propagation
Inject ZeroTol through mist lines to treat cuttings and plugs while simultaneously clearing line-clogging biofilms and algae.
Foliar Spray Treatment
Apply ZeroTol above plants to cure or prevent a wide variety of fungal and bacterial plant diseases in bedding plants, pot crops, plugs, nursery crops, cut flowers, and cuttings.
Drench Treatments
Regularly treat non-soil material with ZeroTol to maintain low disease pressures. ZeroTol is recommended as both a curative and preventive application for young plant material.
Water Treatment
Apply ZeroTol to help stop cross-contamination in recycled water systems such as hydroponic systems, recirculation systems, and stored water systems.
ZeroTol is also recommended for use in a wide variety of turf applications, including:
Curative Treatments
ZeroTol is recommended as a curative treatment for a wide variety of turf grasses infected with disease. ZeroTol effectively eradicates harmful fungi, algae, and bacteria on contact, and is specially engineered for application at high volumes and rates to kill pathogens down to the deep thatch layer. ZeroTol can be applied with syringing spray treatments, chemigation systems, or standard spray equipment.
Preventive Applications
When used together with other residual fungicides, ZeroTol provides a “belt and suspenders” solution to disease control. ZeroTol provides quick eradication of turf pathogens, while the other residual fungicides work to suppress future pathogen build-up. When used as part of a tank mix program, ZeroTol can enhance the efficacy of turf treatment programs.
Chemigation
ZeroTol can be directly injected into irrigation systems to effectively eradicate harmful fungi, algae, and bacteria in irrigated plants and turf.
Q&A
Q: Is ZeroTol EPA Registered?
A: Yes. ZeroTol is registered with the EPA under EPA# 70299-1.
Q: How compatible is ZeroTol with other fungicides?
A: ZeroTol is generally compatible with a wide range of common fertilizers, pesticides, and insecticides, but will be chemically incompatible with products containing these active ingredients: copper, aluminum, magnesium/zinc, and magnesium/copper. To check for compatibility with another product, mix small amounts of the two product solutions together, and see if a chemical reaction occurs. If compatibility is still unclear, always apply ZeroTol before the other product. Be careful never to mix the ZeroTol concentrate with the concentrate of another product. Always read the product label before applying.
Q: Can ZeroTol be safely applied to flowers and young plant material like plug plants?
A: Yes. For preventive application such as these, the preventive application rate of 1 part ZeroTol concentrate to 300 parts water should be used.
Q: What affects the shelf life of ZeroTol?
A: ZeroTol will retain its efficacy as long as it is not exposed to chemicals that it can react with. Be sure to keep the ZeroTol container tightly closed and any stock tank solutions well-covered. ZeroTol is not affected by freezing.
Q: How can ZeroTol be best combined with others fertilizers?
A: ZeroTol is most compatible with other fertilizers when applied using dedicated chemical proportioners commonly employed in direct feed treatments. However, when applying ZeroTol to turf, do not combine ZeroTol with iron supplements. Furthermore, care should be taken never to mix fertilizer concentrate with the ZeroTol concentrate. Always read the product label before applying.
Q: Is ZeroTol identical to Hydrogen Peroxide?
A: No. Whereas hydrogen peroxide is highly unstable and will quickly react upon exposure to organic material and ultraviolet light, ZeroTol’s revolutionary blend of buffering agents and stabilizers ensure that it can be used without risk of phytotoxicity to seedlings.
Q: Is ZeroTol recommended for all manner of turf grass and putting greens?
A: Yes. ZeroTol has been extensively tested and proven effective on many different kinds of turf grasses when applied at the labelled rates.
Q: Does ZeroTol enhance the health of turf root systems in any way?
A: No. When applied at the recommended rates, ZeroTol will not penetrate to the root zone since it biodegrades on contact with pathogens at the turf thatch layer. ZeroTol therefore makes an excellent complement to biological programs that treat the root zone.
Q. Where can ZeroTol 2.0 be used?
A: ZeroTol 2.0 is a powerful paracetic acid which helps in protecting greenhouse and nursery crops. The idea of growing fruits and vegetables of high quality is now possible with ZeroTol 2.0. you can use it around people, animals, and other wildlife as there is no toxic residual left behind and is quite harmless.
Q. How often should the ZeroTol 2.0 spraying be repeated?
A: The ZeroTol 2.0 is a perfect way to make your plants grow well without any hazards. The procedure can be repeated as often as possible but keeping a great look on the need of it. If the matter is taken into care on the first spray then there leaves no reason to go for the spray again.
Q. Are there any temperature restrictions for applying ZeroTol 2.0?
A: ZeroTol 2.0 makes sure that everything provided for the betterment of the plant and flower growth have no hazards attached to it. The product is not suitable for the places which are intensely heated, face drought or with poor plant vigor.

Elaine McLean –
ZeroTol for Foliar Nematodes & Crown Rot
This is probably the craziest comment you have had. I lost the first container. We cannot find it any where. It may have accidently been placed in the recycling bin without ever being used. However, we did purchase the larger 2.5 gallon (I think) last year. There was an article in an old Hosta Journal about ZeroTol controlling foliar nematodes about 90%. We now have so many that I cannot bear to take out any more. Even though I replaced the soil entirely in my little and mini Hosta bed they have invaded that bed. I have used ZeroTol and I think it has prevented disease spreading to some plants and others seem healthier, fewer infected leaves. It also has prevented crown rot from spreading in a different bed. I always had good luck and no problems gardening until 2-3 years ago so I was dismayed. But I am glad to have found something that helps and causes no harm to the environment and the birds. We are careful and use goggles and long sleeves and pants. Sincerely, Elaine McLean
